100 pounds =45359.2 gms

now, 342 gm of C12H22O11 gives 198 gms of h20

45359.2 gms gives = 45359.2 "\\times" "\\frac{198}{342}" = 26260.59 gm H20


26260.59 gm of H2O = 26.26 liters of H2O

hence 26.26 liters of water is contaminated
