According to Gay-Lussac's law, at constant pressure, the volume of a gas changes in proportion to the temperature аccording to the following formula:

"V1\/T1 = V2\/T2"

V1 is the initial volume of gas at temperature T1

V2 is the volume we are looking for at temperature T2

Let's substitute our data into the formula:

"V1 =35ml, T1= 288K, V2 = 75 ml"

"35\/288=75\/T2"

"T2= 75\u00d7288\/35"

"T2 = 617K"

Answer: the new temperature will be 617K
