2.5 kg = 2500 g

Moles of Na2S2O3:

2500 g / 158 g/mol = 15.82 mol

According to the equation:

Na2S2O3 + 4Cl2 + 5H2O = 2NaHSO4 + 8HCl

Moles NaHSO4 = 2 moles Na2S2O3 = 15.82 mol x 2 = 31.6 mol

Mass = 31.6 mol x 120 = 3797.5 g = 3.8 kg

Moles HCl = 8 moles Na2S2O3 = 15.82 mol x 8 = 126.6 mol

Mass = 31.6 mol x 36.5 = 4620 g = 4.62 kg

Answer: 3.8 kg NaHSO4; 4.62 kg HCl.
