Given,

pOH = 4.84

We know, pKw= pH+ pOH

Or, pH = pkw–pOH

pKw = 14 at 25°C

So, pH = 14–4.85

= 9.15

As we know pH<7 is Acidic and pH>7 is basic and pH=7 is neutral solution.


So, as pH =9.15 so, the solution is basic.
