How did you get the formula and does it exist cause I checked the textbook I didn't see anything like this

I was having the same issue. I think I have figured out the problem. On an assignment, students have the option to click "mark as done" (see the attached photo) and it will turn in the assignment, but the work isn't completed. On the teacher's end, it will show the student has turned in the assignment, but they haven't actually completed the Google form attached with the assignment. Therefore, you won't have a response from them to grade.
