Ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3) is used in saltbridze , because the ionic velocity of the ammonium ion(NH4+)and nitrate ion(NO3-) are same, sodium chloride (NaCl) is not used because the ionic velocity of the cation and anion are different in sodium chloride,
