In order to determine the manufacturer of a bullet casing found at a crime scene, a forensic scientist dissolved the bullet casing, which had a mass of 3.275g, in nitric acid and diluted the volume of the resulting solution to 100mL. The scientist measured the absorbance of the unknown bullet casing with a spectrophotometer and compared it to a standard curve. The standard curve data is given in the table below.
Calculate the concentration of copper ion in the unknown bullet casing if the absorbance of the unknown casing was 0.2566.
