regular vinegar

=5.25% acetic acid by mass

pickling vinegar contain

=7.34% acetic acid by mass

Cost of regular vinegar = $2.50 per 4 L

Cost of pickling vinegar = $3.25 per 4L

Density = 1.00g/ ml

Density = mass/volume

Mass = density / volume

Mass = 1g

Regular vinegar = ((5.25)(1))

= 5.25g

Pickling vinegar = ((7.34)(1))

= 7.34g

Therefore

Note: Regular vinegar is better to buy since its cost is lower and the mass required is lower
