1.To find the density of a solution, we divide its mass by its volume:

10.9gr/ 10ml= 1.09gr/ml

2. Or, first calculate the mass of 500 ml of solution and then find the density. but the result is the same:

10 ml — 10.9 gr

500 ml — x gr

x = 500*10.9/10=545 gr

Find is the dencity:

545 gr/ 500ml = 1.09 gr/ ml

ANSWER: 1.09 gr/ml
