and P (solution) =X (solvent) + P (solvent)

Barium hydroxide is completely soluble. also, it lacks vapor pressure itself 4.68 g/100 mL (25 °C). Barium hdroxide is formed when barium oxide is dissolved in water. molar mass of BaO = 153.326 g/mole

pressure of solution (Ps) = (100g / 18g/mole) /((100/18) + (4.68g/153.326g/mole))

Hence, vapour pressure of solution (Ps) = 0.99 x 23.8mm of Hg

= 23.63 mm of Hg at 25oC
