Moles "1.2\/24" excess 0

at t =0

At t =t 0 excess 1.2/24


Hence moles of MgO will formed according to unitary method is 1/20 moles

mass of MgO formed = 1/20 * 40

= 2 gm.

Here Mg is limiting reagent.

Mole concept will be applied according to limiting reagent.

Limiting reagent is that reagent which ends first.
