The electron configuration of Sulfur is;

"1s^22s^22p^63s^23p^4"

Sulfur has two(2) electrons in its "1s" orbital, 2 electrons in its "2s" orbital, "6" electrons in its "2p" orbital, "3" electrons inits "3s" orbital and "4" electrons in its "3p" orbital.

Sulfur has thus six "(6)" valence electrons.
