Willard resigned after the realignment of the National association of broadcasters(NAB) after the organizations board meeting.
Willard was the executive vice president of the organization. The board had removed the position of the exeutive vice president prompting Willard's resignation.
The move has left a gap as the NAB is not sure who will take over Willard's position as ruled by Judge Miller. A complete job analysis has to be done before the take over.
As the board moves to cut down on the budget by removing the executive committee and engineering department, the move is likely to cripple operations of the NAB. Some protests are also anticipated as some members feel that the association cannot neglect the basic operations of radio programming.
