Question #105665
When MoO3 and Zn are heated together they react: 3Zn(s) + 2MoO3(s) > Mo203(s) + 3ZnO(s) what mass of ZnO is formed when 20.0g MoO3 reacted with 10.0g of Zn?

As we compare the masses we see that MoO3 is in excess

So we use Zn mass for calculations:

m (ZnO) = 81.39*10.0/65.39 = 12.4 g
