The energy of a particle in the 1D box is represented by a formula:
E=n2h2/8mL2
where h is the Planck constant, m is the mass of a particle, and L is the dimension (length) of the box.
So for n=1, n=2 and n=3 the energy values will be h2/8mL2, h2/2mL2 and 9h2/8mL2 respectively.
