Answer to Question #65173 in Zoology for Sanjukta Ghosh

Question #65173
I was reading the different subphyla under Arthropoda by Ruppert and Barnes and I wonder what difference Uniramia have with Celicerata and Crustacea in terms of appendages? Because uniramina means one without branched appendages, does this mean that others have branched appendages? I can see the jaws of chelicera but that doesn't make it branched even insects have two claws on their tarsi. Isn't it?
