Describe canal system in porifera.
The sponges' bodies include multiple pores for the admission and exit of water currents, which comprise the canal system. The water stream passes via a specific set of spaces throughout the body, constituting the canal system. The water flowing through the canal system maintains all interaction between the sponge body and the external medium. Food and oxygen are introduced into the body, while excreta, excretory waste, and reproductive organs are eliminated.
