Selective breeding is when you mate specific plants to pass on a certain genetic trait they may have. Farmers use selective breeding to breed the best plants for feeding, selling or breeding.


Step One : Breed those individuals your plant to have
Step Two : Choose the characteristic you want
Step Three : Select individuals that have the characteristic
Step Four : Wait until they have offspring
Step Five : Choose the offspring that have the characteristic you want
Step Six : Repeat the process all over again (probably several times)
