Phospholipid is a complex lipid consisting of a hydrophilic part (head) and hydrophobic part (tail). Hydrophilic part includes glycerol and phosphate group that can be modified with serine, ethanolamine, choline, etc. Hydrophobic tail consists of fatty acids.
