Semi conservative DNA replication method was given by Messelson and Stahl. In this method of replication one strand of DNA is synthesized anew and other strand is conservative i.e it remains the same as original one.Thus Semi conservative replication would produce two copies of DNA that each contains one of the original strands and one new strand.
