Each tRNA transports one amino acid to ribosomes. Since 30 tRNA molecules were involved, 30 amino acids were used to make the protein. As each tRNA interacts with one triplet and one triplet is a stop codon, the coding region of the gene contained 31 triplet and 31×3= 93 nucleotides.
