Question #127071

Why does the level of GP change in relation to the RuBP level at low carbon dioxide?

Expert's answer

Because an extra GP molecule is used to regenerate RuBP, which enables the system to prepare for the carbon-fixation step while the other remaining GP molecules are responsible for the formation of carbohydrate molecules commonly known as glucose.
