In taxonomy, there are different Kingdoms mostly characterized by unique organisms. However, Kingdom Protista, has organism which are not entirely distinct. The organisms in this kingdom are not considered as plants, fungi or animals and hence least distinct. This is why Kingdom Protista might be thought of as the “odds and ends” kingdom.
