Fungus Increases Its Survival Because Of Its Various Different Developmental Mechanisms. Most Important Of All Is Evading Of The Immune System Of The Host.

This Is Possible Because Fungus Developed A Covering Named Beta-1,3-glucan And Chitin Which Hide Fungai From The Host Immune System And Also Have Different Molecules Which Helps In Doing So. Basically, What Fungus Do Is That, They Block The PAMP(Pattern Recognition Site) Through Which Host Can Detect The Fungus. Also Besides This, They Have Developed Competitive Metabolism And Are Capable Of Replication.

Fungus Also Have Evolved Mechanisms Which Prevent/Inhibit Phagocytosis, Limit Chemotaxis And Escape Host Defense Mechanisms Thereby Increasing Their Survival.
