The fragmentation and destruction of natural habitat leads to reduction of population size and abundance, change of genetic diversity and extinction of wildlife. Due to patches of habitat the food chain length become smaller, which change the species interaction and reduce the specialists and large species of wildlife.

In the natural world, limiting factors like the availability of food, water, shelter, and space can change animal and plant populations. Other limiting factors, like competition for resources, predation, and disease also impact populations.

Measures for conservation of Wildlife.

1.Forests should be conserved, so that the natural abode of wildlife is preserved too.

2.Hunting should be restricted.

3.Human interference should be banned in forests.

4.Awareness should spread for the protection of wildlife amongst local people.
