The cell is made up of plasma membrane, cytoplasm, and organelles. In case of prokaryotic cells, the organelles are ribosomes and sometimes mesosomes. These cells also contain nucleoid and sometimes flagella. In case of eukaryotic cells, the organelles are nucleus, Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, lysosomes, mitochondria and chloroplasts, and others.
