ICDH is a citric acid or tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme. Isocitrate undergoes dehydrogenation in the presence of ICDH to form oxalosuccinate. In mammalian tissues, there are two NADP-specific ICDH isoenzymes located in the mitochondria and cytoplasm respectively.
