Leaves have a very good adaptation for photosynthesis.
They have :
- A large total area to absorb more light to allow Cars
- They contain openings called stomata, to allow CO2 into the leaf and O2 out.
- The plant cell have chloroplasts wich containthe the chlorophyll pigment. The light phase of photosynthesis take place their.
- Leves have “transport” tissues (xylem and phloem). This specialised tissues move substances in and around the leaf and the whole plant.
