Vitamin C:
Provides: normal development of connective tissue; wound healing; resistance to stress; normal immune status; supports blood formation processes. The main form of deficiency is scurvy. The consequence of the disease is atrophy of the connective tissues, a disorder of the hematopoietic system, teeth loss.
Vitamin B1:
Provides: nerve impulses. With a deficiency of vitamin Β1 beriberi disease develops, the signs of which are disorders of the nervous system (polyneuritis), cardiovascular disease and muscle atrophy.
Vitamin B12:
Provides: normal hematopoiesis; work of the gastrointestinal tract; cellular processes in the nervous system. Vitamin B12 deficiency leads to severe neurological disorders, caused by violation of myelin synthesis. Such disorders are sponge degeneration of the spinal cord, peripheral nerve damage, optic nerve damage, loss of sensitivity, visual impairment. B12 deficiency may cause macrocytic anemia (anemia with an increase in intracellular erythrocyte volume), thrombocytopenia, neutrophil hypersegmentation.
