The difference between the transport of electrons in chloroplasts and the fact that in mitochondria lies in the fact that the energy received from sunlight during photosynthesis not only transforms into triphosphate, but also used to create Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, necessary for the further conversion of CO₂ into carbohydrates.
