Question #6412

I have stored a sample frozen worms by liquid nitrogen for about 2 years in room temperature, will it be accepted if now i want to extract the protein from this tissue?

Expert's answer

It will be accepted to extract the protein from the tissue if it is all right
with an use-by date of this tissue: the proteins are frozen, that's why they are
preserved and all possible metabolic activities are stopped. Although it will
be possible to use it even after several time storage.
