Currently coal is one of the most importantenergy resources. By the usage of coal and other fossil fuel people increase the concentration of CO₂ in the atmosphere. It means the activation of plant growth (CO₂ is one of the limiting elements for that) and water resources acidification (as the partial concentration of CO₂ of atmosphere increases). Mining activity releases great amount of minerals and creates the possibility to spread them all over the world. For example, by mining we can create great concentration of the Uranium on the Earth surface.
