whwn we add lugol solution to tissue paper..what colour and result it gives??

Tissue paper obtains the color of iodine solution – yellow. Tissue paper contains cellulose and does not contain starch. Thus, it does not form colored complex with iodine. Such result indicates that tissue paper is starch-negative.
