The structure of lac operon and its action
when the media consist of increased glucose :
when there is an increased glucose concentration, then cAMP can't be formed and without cAMP, CAP can't bind to DNA. this results in a low level of transcription.
low glucose :
When glucose levels are low, cAMP was produced and bonded to CAP.where CAP allows binding of DNA. This cap also helps in the binding RNA polymerase to the promoter which leads to high levels of transcription.
