Stool sample was collected from an infected individual. A wet mount was prepared and performed microscopic examination using OIO (1000x magnification). Image A shows an unknown object observed from the wet mount and measured ~12 micrometers in diameter. Images B-D are the same unknown object but in various focal planes. What do you think is this? Based on what criteria?

The case showed mature cyst of Entamoeba coil. This is based on the fact that the four different focal planes showeing the same cyst thereby demonstrating that there is more than four nuclei which is diagnostic for this species.
