Steam is used as a working fluid in a simple heat engine. It is heated from a hot reservoir with temperature, T=300 oC, performs net work, W=1000 J, and rejects heat into a cold reservoir with temperature, T=100 oC, to complete the cycle. This irreversible cycle is 25% as efficient as an ideal reversible cycle. Determine the waste heat (QL) transferred in this cycle. Draw and label the cycle, showing the temperature, heats and net work.
