If an electron is a an excited state in the underlying electric field then what is a positron? Is there a positron field? or is a positron a different form of existed state in the same electric field?

Yes. A positron will be in the identical excited state in the same underlying electric field. It is because the transitions between the two energy states of antiatoms are identical to that of atoms. Yes, there is a positron field like an electron field in usual atoms.
