We know that

λ=600nmμ=1,μ=1.5\lambda=600nm\\\mu=1,\mu'=1.5

λα1μ\lambda\alpha\frac{1}{\mu}

Now

λλ=μμ\frac{\lambda}{\lambda'}=\frac{\mu'}{\mu}

λ=μμ×λ\lambda'=\frac{\mu}{\mu'}\times\lambda

λ=600×109×11.5=400nm\lambda'=600\times10^{-9}\times\frac{1}{1.5}=400nm
