Hysteresis loop:-

loop relation between intensity of magnetization and magnetic field this loop is called B-H curve

The loop is generated by measuring the magnetic flux coming out from the ferromagnetic substance while changing the external magnetizing force.

Area of hysteresis loop repersent energy loss(high area is high energy loss and low are is low energy loss)

Difference between soft iron and steel

Iron:-

1. The area of hysteresis loop is low(low energy loss)

2. Retentivity is low

3. Low coerresive force and magnetic permeability is high

4. "\\Iota" and"\\chi" both are high

5.magnetize and demagnetized easily

6. Use dinamo transfarmer etc

STEEL:-

1. The area is hysteresis loop is large(high energy loss)

2.more retentivity

3. More coerresive force and magnetic permeability is low

4."\\Iota"

and "\\chi" both are low

5. Demagnetized not easily

6 .Use only for use parmanent magnent
