No. of php 18 capsules = y

Now, total no. of capsules = 30

Total php = 340

Step 2

From (1), x = 30 – y

From (2), 10(30-y) + 18y = 340

300 – 10y + 18y = 340

8y = 40

Y = 5

Hence she can buy maximum 5 capsules.
