Aggradation is the fluvial process associated with a river as well as its differentiating parameters. Aggradation is influenced by river discharge, sediment load, morphological characteristics of river channel and human interventions. Aggradation occurs if the river water is unable to transfer the bed load or the channel material then the same is deposited within the channel and channel height increases (Mugade & Sapkale, 2015).
